Hi I am Shellie Miller and currently running classes at St Andrews Church Centre in Thorpe St Andrew.
I first started attending PRESMA classes whilst my eldest daughter was a baby, as a mum i wanted an activity for us to share together in a relaxed environment that was fun. She loved music babies so much that we continued on to the sessions for children aged from 1 year and have attended Marys group since 2008. We both look forward to it every week and will continue to attend for many years yet with Jessicas younger sister Eleanor.
I have worked in hospitality and catering for many years, an industry that I love but i have always wished to work with young children. I have always loved music for as long as I can remember and seeing the joy, confidence and skills that PRESMA has given my own child encouraged me to do my training to become a PRESMA teacher. I did my training in Hellesdon with Sarah and thoroughly enjoyed it and am now very proud to be part of such a fantastic organisation.
I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and eating out, I also collect frogs, my house is so full of them, they are in every room and yes they all have names!!! One special frog Freddie will be with me in my music sessions, he is very friendly and likes to wave and hop a lot!

“We enjoy music groups because they provide play activities with a small group of children of similar ages. Robbie has been developing social skills such as turn taking, listening to or watching others and responding appropriately. He also has to focus on instructions and comply, which he has struggled against on occasions, but he has shown marked improvement over time with ever greater participation levels.
He has always loved music and singing, and learns complete tunes very quickly. PRESMA helps him to pick up the words with accompanying actions to reinforce the meanings. Whilst Robbie does not always join in with all the actions in class, I know that he enjoys the sessions and learns from them, as he rehearses at home enthusiastically.”
